    XAVIER UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA


    We, the Class of 2006, are pleased to invite you to partner with us in celebration of our 20 Year Reunion during Xavier University of Louisiana’s Homecoming, taking place November 4–8, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This milestone celebration will welcome hundreds of alumni from the Class of 2006, along with their families, friends, and the broader Xavier community. As part of a Homecoming week drawing thousands of attendees, our reunion will highlight legacy, leadership, scholarship, and service — values that reflect both Xavier University’s mission and the enduring spirit of our class.


    The Class of 2006 shares a uniquely historic bond. During our senior year, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast and displaced our university community across the country. Despite extraordinary challenges, we reunited, rebuilt, and graduated — marked by a historic commencement address delivered by then, United States Senator Barack H. Obama, and now the 44th President of the United States —at the 79th Commencement Ceremony held on August 12, 2006. Our journey reflects determination, excellence, and unwavering commitment to our alma mater.  


    In honor of our shared pursuit and in tribute to the visionary leadership of the late Dr. Norman C. Francis, our reunion events will include alumni engagement activities, community service initiatives, networking opportunities, and a signature 20 Year Reunion experience designed to foster a meaningful connection and celebration.
