  • CAMP PURPLE PINES Volunteer Counselor/Staff Application

    All volunteers must meet the following requirements. Please review these prior to submitting your application:

    • Must pass a criminal background check and interview process
    • Must have a current Seizure First Aid Certification
    • Must be able to attend the entire duration of camp, arriving by 3pm on Thursday, July 16th through Sunday, July 19th at 3pm
    • Must be able to coordinate your own transportation to and from camp
    • Must be able to have only limited cell and wi-fi service during time at camp
    • Must love children and be willing to have fun, try new things, let loose and be silly!      

    ***Thursday, July 16th is a training, orientation, team-building day. Campers will arrive the following day by noon***

  • After submitting your application, you will receive an email from a third-party vendor with instructions to complete the background check authorization. The cost of the background check is fully covered by the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho.

    Upon approval of your application, you will also receive a link to complete the on-demand, free, virtual Seizure First Aid certification. The certification is valid for two years, so if you completed it last year, you do not need to retake it at this time. The link will be distributed closer to camp.
