Health is foundational in our program. We do not breed until our dogs are at least two years old. Every pairing is intentionally planned to strengthen virtues and improve weaknesses. All our sires and dams are health tested for issues in the breed including deafness, eye diseases, hip or elbow dysplasia and DNA tested for over 300 other genetic markers for health and disease making them OFA CHIC certified. CHIC means the parents have completed the recommended health testing for Australian Cattle Dogs through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Do you know how to look those results up online yourself? If not, we have them linked on each sire or dam profile on our website.

To date, we have finished 11 Champions. For us, championships reflect structure, soundness, and temperament — not just ribbons or a pretty face. While we primarily breed with the intention of keeping show prospects for ourselves, most of our puppies thrive in loving pet and sport homes. Our puppies leave with prepaid AKC registration, prepaid microchips, BAER hearing testing, veterinary exams, first vaccinations, heartworm prevention, pet insurance, and more. Do you have any questions about what is included with the purchase of your puppy?

For the safety of our dogs, we do not allow kennel visits, but we are inspected by the AKC. A representative looked at all our dogs, their housing, daily care routines, and our records to ensure everything meets AKC guidelines. This includes cleanliness, proper space, access to food and water, accurate documentation, and proper identification for each dog. And we welcome families to meet us at dog shows. Would you be interested in attending a show to see our dogs in person?

At 7 weeks, we begin offering puppies to families who have paid a $500 deposit at 5 weeks. Rather than relying heavily on early temperament testing snapshots, we focus on preparing families for the overall traits of the breed — intelligence, energy, loyalty, and strong working drive. If you’re new to the breed, we require a detailed plan for training. If this is your first ACD, what is your detailed plan for the puppy’s first year? We do require a signed sales and sterilization agreement before accepting a deposit, as part of protecting every puppy we produce. We ask for this puppy to be spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. As an alternative option to that, you may do an ovary sparing spay or vasectomy at 6 months of age instead. We do not sell our dogs with breeding rights. Do you understand?* This field is required.

Most puppies go home at 9-10 weeks. We ask families to be prepared for scheduled pickup dates, and we require buyers to be in person at pickup or delivery. Are you planning to drive or fly to us?
