POSITION OVERVIEW
SAFEchild is seeking an experienced facilitator to coordinate and support implementation of the Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program. This role focuses on high-quality group facilitation, smooth program operations, and clear communication. The ideal candidate is organized, relational, and able to step into an established program, with the ability to learn program operations and facilitation requirements through onboarding and training. This position will support the implementation and growth of both English and Spanish-language Circle of Security parennting (COSP) programming in collaboration with the Program Assistant – Spanish Programs, facilitators, and community partners.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with occasional evening hours required to support group facilitation and program operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitation & Program Delivery
• Facilitate 3–5 COSP group cycles annually
• Maintain fidelity to the COSP model
• Lead make-up sessions as needed
• Support participant engagement and manage group dynamics effectively
• Be onsite at the start of each new group cohort to ensure smooth launch and participation orientation
• Provide backup coverage for scheduled sessions as needed
Program Development & Expansion
• Support outreach, recruitment, and community engagement efforts to increase awareness of COSP services.
• Assist with development of systems, procedures, and resources that support ongoing growth and sustainability of COSP programming.
Program Coordination & Logistics
• Coordinate scheduling, participant enrollment, and operational needs for both English and Spanish-language COSP programming.
• Collaborate with the Program Assistant – Spanish Programs to support Spanish-language cohort logistics, participant communication, and program preparation
• Support planning and implementation of COSP expansion efforts and community partnerships as assigned.
• Prepare logistics including meals, materials, and room setup
• Maintain program inventory and order supplies as needed
Participant Engagement
• Foster positive relationships with participants and identify barriers to participation and provide referrals as appropriate.
• Support outreach and recruitment efforts for English and Spanish-language COSP cohorts
• Work collaboratively with the Program Assistant – Spanish Programs to identify and address barriers to participation for Spanish-speaking families.
Data & Documentation
• Track attendance, demographics, and outcomes
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Support preparation of required internal and funder reports
Collaboration
• Collaborate with the Volunteer & Prevention Coordinator regarding volunteer support for assigned cohorts.
• Collaborate closely with the Program Assistant – Spanish Programs to ensure coordinated implementation of COSP services across languages.
• Support onboarding, communication, and coordination of contract facilitators and future COSP facilitators.
• Maintain relationships with referral partners and community organizations.
• Work with other SAFEchild program staff to strengthen referral pathways and family engagement.
• Participate in relevant internal meetings

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience facilitating groups
• Experience working with trauma-impacted families
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Experience using a database or electronic system to track attendance, participant information, and program outcomes
• Availability for evening group facilitation and flexibility for backup coverage as needed
