Organized by Gardiner Main Street and established in 2009, Swine & Stein Brewfest has a strong following. Held in the streets of our historic downtown, Gardiner's most popular event of the year includes live music, local food vendors, fun games & activities and more!

Participating craft beverage vendors benefit from the many marketing efforts of Swine & Stein Brewfest. This includes a profile feature on the event website, dedicated and tagged individual vendor posts, and logos/listings on printed materials and press releases.

This is a paid "beer garden" style event with unlimited tastings included with admission. Brewers will be paid $400 to bring 4 sixtels worth of product (or the equivalent for wines or spirits).

Space is limited, so please register early!

GARDINER MAIN STREET (GMS) WILL PROVIDE:

$400 stipend for product
Ice as needed
Access to rinsing water and gray water bucket emptying
Pourer name badges and state affidavits to be signed at event setup
Promotion of the event throughout central and southern Maine
Event handout at gate with brewer listings and offerings
(2) $10 Food Vouchers per vendor
A ridiculously good time!

VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EVENT:

Must bring $400 worth of beer, wine, cider or spirits
At least two different varieties product
Staff to pour product
Provide own cold plate and CO2
Trays for runoff, rinsing/gray water bucket
Table/chairs, 10’ x10’ tent and weights (in case of wind)
Banners and signage
Optional but encouraged: specialty product for VIP hour

REQUIRED IN ADVANCE OF EVENT:

Competed brewer application
Certificate of Liability Insurance listing Gardiner Main Street AND the City of Gardiner as additionally insured
Completed Section 3 of the State of Maine Application for Special Taste Testing Event License to sent Gardiner Main Street. GMS will pay the $20 application fee per brewer.
