Forks Area Aid Network has partnered with New Hope for Immigrants Nonprofit to organize helpers in the Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN area by neighborhood so help stays local, relationship-based, and responsive. Rather than centralized services, we support neighbors helping neighbors, with the goal of shared resources, training, and emergency funds.

Our efforts were spurred by the growing fear amongst community members caused by recent immigration enforcement tactics, and our resources currently remain focused on helping our neighbors whose safety and well-being have been directly impacted.

Please note that all identifying information will be handled with care. This information will be visible to a small intake group, and your need will be diverted - with all identifying information kept confidential - to the community need form OR will be handled directly depending on the nature of your need.

Some examples include grocery order pickup, medication pickup, transportation, laundry assistance, and school/daycare drop off and pickup. Please include as many details as possible, such as days and times, whether short-term or long-term, ages of individuals needing transportation, etc.

We do our best to match needs with available donations and volunteers, but we cannot guarantee that every request will be filled or completed within a specific timeframe.

All assistance is offered in good faith by community volunteers and donors. FAAN is not a government agency or emergency response organization. By submitting this form, you understand that support is dependent on available resources and volunteer capacity.
