Program Details
- Held across multiple Gold Coast clubs throughout the 26/27 season
- Training runs one weekend per month (sometimes more depending on the award)
- Awards include First Aid, ART, IRB Crewperson, SWRE, SMPC, SSV, 4WD Endorsement, and Recreational Boat Licence
Role
- Assist in the planning and delivery of the program
- Support participants to develop their skills
- Assist trainers and assessors when needed
- Attend planning meetings (via Teams and in person)
- Attend first in-person Coordination Team Meeting — 27 July 2026
Eligibility
- Aged 18+ at the start of the program
- Current financial member of a South Coast or Point Danger Branch affiliated club
- Hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card or Exemption Notice
- Have participated as a leader at a Branch or State Development Camp
- Completed the Child Youth Risk Management Strategy (CYRMS) Induction
- Club endorsements required for all applications
