    Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Iota Mu Nu Chapter
  • Scholarships awards are funded and by the Omega Hope Foundation in support of the Iota Mu Nu Chapter. These scholarships provide financial assistance for tuition, books, and tutoring to students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, technical, and other post-secondary studies at accredited colleges and universities.

  • APPLICATION CRITERIA:

    1. Essay contest scholarship awards opprtunities are:
      • First Place Award - $2,500
      • Second Place Award - $1,000
      • Third Place Award - $500
    2. Be sure to adhere to all the instructions below. Failure to do so could result in a negative score or disqualification of your submission.
    3. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior presently enrolled in good academic standing.
    4. Applicant must attend a high school in Clay, Flagler, Putnam or St. Johns County.
    5. This application must be accompanied by the upoladed essay. Type your essay and submitt in either MS Word or Adobe .pdf compatible formats.
    6. 2026 Essay Theme: With the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), do you think its use will advance or regress individual ingenuity in our society?
    7. The essay must be original and neither previously published nor secured by copyright.  The essay shall not be the product of collaborative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in whole or in part.  The essay must be no more than 500 words.
    8. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026.

  • *IMN Scholarship Recipients must provide a letter of acceptance and copy of class schedule or acceptable proof of enrollment from the institution prior to receiving scholarship funds. Funds will be disbursed to the institution for release to the student.
