  • Hero’s Compass: Business
DTCare is pleased to offer a specialized business‑oriented format of the Hero’s Compass: Business program — an 8‑day adventure‑based program with integrated business training, followed by a 10‑week online support program. This program is designed to support the transition from military service to civilian life by strengthening mental health, well‑being, resilience, and recovery, as well as by developing the entrepreneurial competencies and skills needed to start or grow your own business.

Participation in the program is the first stage of DTCare’s pilot project Hero’s Business, which aims to create opportunities for veterans to refine entrepreneurial ideas, acquire practical business skills, and expand access to future professional and economic opportunities.

    What to Expect

This online form is your initial step toward joining the business‑oriented program of the Hero’s Compass, but it does not guarantee automatic admission. Please complete all sections thoughtfully. The information you provide helps us better understand you, your needs, and your motivation for developing entrepreneurial activities. We strive to accept as many veterans as possible, prioritizing safety, therapeutic effectiveness, and alignment between participant goals and program resources.

  • DTCare's 8-day in-person adventure counselling Hero’s Compass program, followed by an online support

Long-term online support after the program: This aspect plays an important role in the rehabilitation process as it provides ongoing accompaniment and support to veterans while they adjust to daily life after the program. This provides a stable platform for recovery and integration into society.

Psychological counseling: Psychological support is crucial for veterans facing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other psychological issues. The opportunity to receive counseling from a psychologist throughout their rehabilitation helps veterans overcome challenges and develop coping strategies.

Free Legal Aid: Veterans often need help with legal issues related to benefits, medical payments, employment, starting own businesses, non-profits, or other aspects of their rights. Providing free legal assistance from DTCare ensures that veterans have the support and advocacy they need.

Our programs not only assist veterans in recovering from service, but also demonstrate the importance and concern for their well-being and successful reintegration into society.
