The City of District Heights is accepting applications from qualified residents to fill a vacancy on the Commission. The appointed Commissioner will serve from 2026–2027, or as otherwise provided by the City Charter.

Eligibility (summarize; confirm against Charter/Code):

Must be a qualified voter (§501).
Must have resided in the city at least two years immediately preceding election/appointment.
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Must not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude.
Commissioners must reside in Ward 2.
