Your Art and Your Will:
Estate Planning for Creatives
Friday, April 24th from 3:00-4:00pm

Butch Segal is a local estate planning attorney and woodworker, will be talking about how your art impacts your estate plan.

Participants will learn:
1. What "intellectual property" means
2. Basic estate planning (healthcare + assets, testate vs. intestate)
3. How selling your art can affect your estate
4. The three free estate planning documents provided by North Carolina and where to find them

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.
