You are joining the summer program as an independent contractor. This means your role is not considered an employee of Boldly Moving Education Ahead (BMEA) and you are not eligible for employee benefits.
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for paying all federal, state, and local taxes, including but not limited to payroll, social security, and withholding taxes, and all other taxes and fees associated with the performance of services for BMEA. BMEA will not withhold taxes or make payments on your behalf.
While you maintain independence in your contractor status, we expect all team members to uphold the professionalism, integrity, and program standards that support a positive and successful summer experience for our students.
