HERE FOR YOU
On view: May 9 - June 30, 2026
Group exhibition presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties + CREATE Council on the Arts
We invite artists of all disciplines to submit work for an upcoming group exhibition exploring the themes of care and human connection.
What does it mean to care for another person — or to be cared for? Who do we turn to, and who turns to us? This exhibition seeks work that reflects on the relationships, gestures, rituals, and moments that bind us to one another: the quiet acts of tending, the weight of responsibility, the spaces we create and belong to.
Artists are asked to submit work in any medium that can hang on a wall and can submit up to 3 pieces for consideration.
This call is open to artists residing in Columbia or Greene County. We especially encourage submissions from artists whose own experiences with caregiving inform their practice.
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: March 31st
- Notification of Acceptance: April 15th
- Work Drop-Off: April 17 - May 1
- Opening Reception: Sat, May 9th
- Exhibition Dates: May 9 - June 30
Please Note: CCE of Columbia and Greene Counties is an educational facility that is utilized by many members of the community. This space is trauma-informed and designed to not retraumatize participants. To this end, we cannot accept artwork that is intended to evoke a strong emotional response that could deter participation by traumatized individuals. CCE and CREATE retain the right to make the determination and refuse artwork that has the possibility of retraumatizing members of the community.
