  • 2026 Distinguished Public Service Scholarship Application Form

  • Since 2013, the FAPAC Distinguished Public Service Scholarship Endowment Fund, Inc. has awarded a $5,000 scholarship to students who exhibit academic excellence, have an interest in a public service career, and have made contributions to advance the AANHPI community.

    Submission deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026 at 8:00 pm ET. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Your essay should be no more than two pages, double spaced, 12pt font. Your essay should include:

    • Your contributions in promoting diversity in the AANHPI communities;
    • How leaders like former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta are a role model; and 
    • How the scholarship can assist you with achieving your public service career goals.

    Additional information may include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
