Ojibway Island City Park was closed to the public in 2025 due to construction and will remain closed for part of the spring and summer of 2026 as work continues.
Historically, the park allowed vehicle traffic through portions of the site. In more recent years, it has operated primarily as a pedestrian-only park, with parking available at the entrance.
As construction progresses and future operations are considered, the City is seeking community input regarding park access, safety, and overall use. Your feedback will help inform decisions moving forward.
There are no predetermined outcomes.
We welcome a range of perspectives. Thank you for sharing your input.
