    Craft Ontario is seeking proposals for the 2026 - 2027 Jewellery Showcase Program!

    With the purpose of selling featured work, the Jewellery Showcase offers craft artists the opportunity to highlight a collection of jewellery, including one-of-a-kind pieces and production work, in the designated Showcase located in The Distillery District - 9 Gristmill Lane, Toronto, ON.

    All work displayed in the Showcase must be for sale and should have the potential to sell in a retail setting.

    Prior to completing the application form, please be sure to carefully review the Jewellery Showcase Information on the Craft Ontario Website.

  • Membership Status

  • If you are not yet a Maker Member, you will be prompted at the end of the Application to pay a $10 administrative fee.

    Maker Membership offers artists a number of benefits, including free access to all Craft Ontario Applications. Craft artists that are not currently a Maker Member can apply and pay a $10 administrative fee. If the application is successful, the applicant will be required to purchase a Maker Membership.

  • Voluntary Self-Identification

  • You are encouraged to complete the following voluntary self-identification question to help Craft Ontario determine whether its programs and services are reaching a diverse and wide range of craft artists. The information that you provide will not be used to determine your eligibility. If you would like the jury to know how you self-identify then please feel free to write about your identity in your application.

    • Definitions 
    • Artists of Colour: The term “artist of colour” is based on the Government of Canada’s definition of “visible minorities,” which is defined as “persons, other than Aboriginal peoples, who are non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour.”

      Deaf Artists and Artists with Disabilities: This priority group includes people who have physical, mental or learning conditions with long-term, temporary, or varying effects that may be apparent or not.

      Indigenous Artists: The term “Indigenous” refers to First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples.

      New Generation Artists: The term “new generation” refers to a person who is 18 to 30 years of age.

      Artists Living In Regions Outside Toronto: “Regions outside Toronto” means Ontario regions outside the City of Toronto. (Toronto postal codes begin with M.)

      Francophone Artists: The term “Francophone” is based on the Government of Ontario’s Inclusive Definition of Francophone (IDF), which includes “persons whose mother tongue is French, plus those whose mother tongue is neither French nor English but have a particular knowledge of French as an official language and use French at home."

      2SLGBTQIAP+: The acronym "2SLGBTQIAP+" refers to individuals who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, intersex, asexual, pansexual or two-spirited.

If my application is successful, I grant Craft Ontario a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal worldwide license to use images and accompanying information submitted to this call for Shop Program Applications, in conjunction with my name, to promote my work, and Craft Ontario as a whole.
