SBAC Advocacy Awards – Nomination Disclaimer
By submitting a nomination for the SBAC Advocacy Awards, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Illinois Presence Requirement: All nominated companies or organizations must have an active business presence in the State of Illinois at the time of nomination and through the awards period.
Attendance Requirement: To be eligible to receive an award, nominees (or an authorized representative) must be present at the SBAC Advocacy Awards Celebration on November 12. Awards will not be granted in absentia.
Marketing & Promotional Participation: Nominees must be willing to participate in SBAC promotional efforts, including but not limited to features on SBAC’s social media platforms, website, email communications, and other marketing channels. By accepting a nomination, the nominee consents to the use of their business name, logo, and relevant information for promotional purposes.
Accuracy of Information: All nominations must contain truthful, accurate, and complete information. SBAC reserves the right to verify details and disqualify any nomination that contains false or misleading information.
Eligibility & Selection: Submission of a nomination does not guarantee selection as a finalist or award recipient. All nominees are subject to review and evaluation by SBAC based on final board approval.
Right to Modify or Cancel: SBAC reserves the right to modify award categories, eligibility requirements, timelines, and event details, or to cancel the program at its discretion.
Consent to Terms: By submitting a nomination, both the nominator and nominee agree to these terms and conditions.
