Reimbursement Application
KC DSA is launching the Kansas Trans ID Access Fund as a direct assistance initiative of Kansas City DSA designed to ensure that trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming Kansans can obtain and maintain valid state issued identification.

Access to identification is essential for employment, housing, healthcare, mobility, voting, and more.

We will cover through reimbursement:
• DMV fees
• Eligible transportation costs (such as ridesharing services)
• Direct ID-related expenses
• Birth Certificate expenses
• Other ID costs related to this bill

If you’re a trans, nonbinary, or gender queer Kansas resident impacted by the ID regulations of SB 244, this is for you! Support is confidential.
