Green Centre Award - 2026
  • Green Centre Award - 2026

  • Criteria

The Green Centre Award recognises a centre that is making an exceptional contribution to upskilling the installer base for net zero, while more generally promoting the use of renewable technologies in the built environment. We are looking for a centre that is leading the way to ensure the building services engineering workforce can meet the complex challenge of decarbonisation, delivering training that nurtures a new generation of multi-skilled installers ready to face the future. Ideally, this centre should ‘practice what it preaches’ by demonstrating an all-round commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Demonstrating excellence in green training

Describe the facilities and any other initiatives your centre uses to deliver LCL Awards renewable qualifications.  You may consider including details on course content, equipment/products used, training delivery techniques and how you ensure relevance to industry needs. Provide examples of how your training has led to measurable impact (e.g., increased certification rates, successful career transitions or contributions to green projects). Other courses which positively support LCL Awards renewable qualifications can also be mentioned. (Max 500 words)
