River Festivus Vendor Conduct & Participation Policy Purpose River Festivus is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and cooperative environment for vendors, volunteers, organizers, and community members. Vendor participation is a privilege extended to businesses that support the positive atmosphere of the festival. Vendor Selection Vendor acceptance each year is determined at the discretion of the River Festivus committee. Selection is based on a variety of factors including event needs, product variety, space limitations, and prior participation experience. Professional Conduct Expectations All vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the application process and during the event. This includes: - Treating festival volunteers, committee members, and other vendors with respect - Communicating concerns directly with festival organizers rather than publicly escalating issues - Avoiding behavior that disrupts the event or creates unnecessary conflict within the vendor community - Following festival guidelines, schedules, and operational procedures Concerns and Conflict Resolution If concerns arise during the event, vendors are expected to bring them directly to the River Festivus committee so they can be addressed promptly and constructively. Future Participation The River Festivus committee reserves the right to decline future vendor applications from individuals or businesses whose conduct during a previous event created disruption, conflict, or an unproductive working environment for festival staff, volunteers, or other vendors. Final Authority All vendor participation decisions are final and are made in the best interest of the festival and the broader community. Submission of this application indicates agreement to abide by River Festivus vendor guidelines and conduct expectations
