• Each song must be recorded as a separate video. (We suggest uploading your videos to YouTube [please choose the unlisted option rather than public if you would like]. Please do not delete your videos as our team may need ongoing access to them for at least 2 months.)

Finally, there are (7) criteria we use to numerically evaluate each audition. We will share the results with you once your audition has been reviewed. The qualities we look for are:
1. Timing - Demonstrates ability to follow click and stay within song’s tempo
2. Control - Demonstrates ability to play with different dynamics; responds to song’s movement
3. Attention to Detail - Demonstrates ability to hear parts and play them according to the arrangement
4. Confidence - Demonstrates security and familiarity in playing instrument
5. Versatility - Demonstrates ability to play different styles, flexibility, variations; follows changes well
6. Instrumental tone - Demonstrates good sound design awareness and sound texture from instrument
7. Energy - Demonstrates a fun attitude, freedom and joy while playing
