Camp Activity Waiver and Photo Release
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in camp activities involves inherent risks. Activities at camp may include, but are not limited to, hiking, swimming, waterfront activities, climbing, sports, outdoor recreation, transportation, and other camp programs.
I acknowledge that these activities carry the possibility of injury or illness. By allowing my child to participate, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.
Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless Christian Camps and Conferences, Inc., including Brookwoods, Deer Run, and Moose River Outpost, along with its staff, volunteers, and representatives, from any claims, demands, damages, or liability arising from my child’s participation in camp activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Medical Authorization
In the event of illness or injury, I authorize camp staff to obtain appropriate medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me or the emergency contact listed in the camper’s file.
Photo and Media Release
I understand that photographs or video recordings may be taken during camp activities. I grant permission for Christian Camps and Conferences, Inc. to use these images for camp-related purposes, including newsletters, promotional materials, websites, and social media. No identifying personal information will be shared without permission.
Acknowledgement
By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understand this waiver and release. I agree to its terms and give permission for my child to participate in camp activities.
