SUBJECT: Permit from the Redding Rancheria ("Permittor"), a federally recognized Indian tribe, authorizing Vendor to participate in Big Time (the "Event")
WHEREAS: The undersigned (hereafter "Vendor" or "Permittee") will engage in the business of selling merchandise and/or food at the Event on Friday, June 26, 2026, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday, June 27, 2026, 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, June 28, 2026, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Win-River Resort & Casino lower parking lot, 2100 Redding Rancheria Rd. Redding, California. The Event will proceed, rain or shine, and Permittor shall bear no responsibility for lost revenues or refunds. This Permit must be signed, and returned to the Redding Rancheria Cultural Department prior to June 6, 2025.
WHEREAS: Vendor space will be a 10'x10' area. Vendor will provide necessary tables and chairs; Vendor will provide necessary booth materials. Permittor will not provide electricity or water. Vendor will need to provide its own generator or other type of lighting for the evening. Vendor space will be pre-assigned. Vendors must provide Tribal verification, if selling Native American Arts and Crafts, pursuant to the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, Public Law 101-644. Vendor set up time for Friday, June 26, 2025, will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Cars must be out of Event area by 4:30 pm. Vendor set up time for Saturday, June 27, 2026, 10 am to 11:00 am. Cars must be out of Event area by Noon am. Vendor set up time for Sunday, June 29, 2025, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Cars must be out of Event area by Noon am, Permittor has the right to deny Vendor participation, without cause.
WHEREAS: Vendor understands and acknowledges that NO ALCOHOL or DRUGS allowed in or around the Event area. Any violations will result in immediate expulsion.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: In consideration of issuance of this Permit, Vendor agrees that in consideration of issuance of this Permit, Vendor agrees to indemnify Permittor against any and all claims arising under this Permit.
THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to waive the sovereign immunity of the Redding Rancheria or any of its officers, agents, or employees.
I HAVE READ THE PERMIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS AND CAN ATTEST TO SIGNING FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PERMIT.
