Get creative with our ‘Over 50s’ drama workshops! Let your imagination take off, try something new and have fun — your first session is a FREE TASTER, no experience needed. Join workshops that have been a huge success for over three years, with over 50 people taking part each week.
In each workshop we start with ‘cultural highlights’ – what everyone has watched, read, attended and highlight recommendations. Then we use creative skills to develop scenes using props, music or images. Then we work on devising ideas and stories, this has included devising and performing plays to an audience of family and friends, recording a radio play and making short films.
Sessions take place in the studio at Chorley Theatre on Sunday evenings or during the days on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
