Nominate Your Favorite Books for the Library Mural

Call for Community Nominations! The Homewood Public Library is pleased to announce a new initiative to install a mural on the outside wall of the building in the south-facing parking lot. This project aims to enhance our shared space, promote local artistry, and celebrate the role of the library in our community. We are seeking input from patrons and residents regarding potential book titles to be highlighted in the mural. The mural will be painted in the fall by local artist Shawn Fitzwater. Round 1: Submit Nominations for your favorite books titles between May 18 - June 21. Round 2: Check back here to vote on the most nominated titles between June 29 - August 9.
