  • Camp Details

    Camp dates : July 10 - 11, 2026

    Camp will be be held in Austin, Brownsville, and San Antonio.  You will be able to indicate your desired camp location below.

     

    Information

    Meals and all camp materials will be provided.  Space is provided later in the form for dietary and other restrictions.

    A mentor training session will be held sometime before the camp. More information will be sent out closer to camp time.

     

    Background Check

    All mentors must fill out a criminal background check through True Hire. A link to this form is located at the end of this form. You must have a Social Security Number to be able to fill out this form.  If you do not have a Social Security Number, please contact projectpipeline@nomacentraltx.org.

    Please fill out the background check linked above before completing the camp mentor registration process.

    Instructions for True Hire Form

    • You must complete this background check even if you have completed it in prior years or for other programs.
    • Fill out your personal infromation (no one at NOMA will see any of this information.
    • You will need a valid Social Security number to complete this form.  If you do not have a Social Security number, please contact us at projectpipeline@nomacentraltx.org.
    • For the "FCRA purpose,"  please select Volunteer.
    • On the "Please Fill-Out/Sign Documents" page, there are 3 links that you must open/acknowledge and one that you will need to sign.
    • Once you have complete these 3 documents, you will be able to save them to your computer.  Email this confimation to us at projectpipeline@nomacentraltx.org.
    • If you forget to save this file, just forward the confirmation email sent from clientservices@true-hire.com to teh email address you provided to True Hire.
