Membership Termination Request

Terminate Your BSCMLS Membership
This form is used to voluntarily terminate MLS access with Big Sky Country MLS. Submitting this form does not cancel your real estate license or REALTOR® association membership.

This form may ONLY be submitted by one of the following:

The Participant — the licensed broker or certified appraiser registered with BSCMLS as the responsible party for the office or firm, commonly referred to as the Broker in Charge or Primary Appraiser; or

The Subscriber — the individual whose MLS membership is being terminated.

Office staff, assistants, transaction coordinators, administrators, or other third parties are NOT authorized to submit this form on behalf of a Subscriber.
Who is filling out this form?
I certify that I am authorized to submit this request because I am either the Participant responsible for the office or firm, or I am the Subscriber whose MLS access and membership are being terminated. I understand that unauthorized submissions may be rejected by BSCMLS.

Termination Details
Annual subscription fees are invoiced on March 1st and cover the billing period from April 1st through March 31st of the following year. Refunds for annual fees are strictly limited, and only available to Subscribers who have held membership for a minimum of 90 consecutive days. Full refunds may be issued only if an audit confirms that you did not log in to the MLS system during the month of April. If you logged in during April, you are only eligible for a prorated refund covering the remaining 11 months of the billing cycle. Termination requests received after April 30th are not eligible for a refund.
Effective Date of Termination

The terminating members' MLS access will be deactivated on the effective termination date.
All Active and Pending listings must be properly transferred or canceled before access is terminated.
Termination does not automatically notify the Montana Board of Realty Regulation or my Local REALTOR® Association.

Certification
If you terminate your MLS membership and later request reactivation 91 days or more after your termination date, you will be required to:
1. Pay a $1,000 reactivation fee, and
2. Pay any unpaid balance that existed at the time your membership was terminated
Reactivation does not reset or prorate previously invoiced subscription fees. Any outstanding annual fees, late fees, or other charges due at the time of termination remain payable, regardless of how much time has passed.
The member acknowledges this reactivation and payment requirement, and certifies they are voluntarily requesting termination of their MLS membership and accept responsibility for the information submitted in this request.
