The River Valley RADs are a nationally recognized robotics and aerial drone club, based out of the River Valley Technical Center. This camp will introduce participants to more than five different robot and aerial drone platforms that the RADs participate in. Designing, building, coding and operating multiple types of robots (FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Lego League, VEX and SeaPerch) and drones (CoDrone, DGI) will be the focus of this challenging, hands-on camp experience. A field trip to The American Precision Museum and a regional manufacturer are also part of this exciting week. By week's end, your child will experience a "live" robotics and drone competition, using a robot or drone that they helped build and program. This camp is also an on-ramp to membership in the River Valley RADs.
