Position Overview:
Servers at The Club at Castle Bluff are the front-line ambassadors of the Club. This role focuses on providing friendly, attentive service to golf and pool patrons while maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and professional atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
Greet and assist golf and pool patrons in a friendly, courteous manner
Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Answer questions regarding menu items, daily specials, and promotions
Ensure members and guests feel welcomed and cared for at all times
- Food & Beverage Service:
Serve snacks, beverages, and light food items promptly
Communicate clearly with the kitchen regarding orders and special requests
Deliver food and drinks in a clean, presentable manner
- Cash Handling & POS:
Process payments through the point-of-sale (POS) system
Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
Maintain accuracy in all transactions and receipts
- Cleaning & Organization:
Keep service areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout shifts
Execute routine cleaning and opening/closing duties
Help maintain the overall cleanliness of Club facilities as needed
- Policy & Compliance:
Follow all Club policies, procedures, and service standards
Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or food service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
