Position Overview:
The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food items efficiently and safely while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and consistency. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive dining experience for Club members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation & Execution:
Prepare and assemble menu items according to Club standards
Ensure consistency, quality, and proper portioning of all food items
Follow established recipes and preparation guidelines
- Food Safety & Sanitation:
Maintain compliance with all health department and sanitation regulations
Practice safe food handling and proper storage procedures
Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment, and prep areas clean and organized
- Inventory & Stock:
Assist with monitoring inventory levels
Rotate food products to minimize waste
Communicate supply needs to the Team Lead or management
- Team Collaboration:
Work efficiently with servers and Team Leads to ensure smooth service
Assist with prep and cleanup before and after service periods
- Policy & Compliance:
Follow all Club policies, procedures, and service standards
Qualifications:
Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and organization
Dependable, punctual, and team-focused
Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods
Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Work in a fast-pace kitchen environment
