INTRODUCTION AND APPLICANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Adopting a rescue dog is a lifelong commitment and a serious responsibility. Our dogs come from a variety of backgrounds, including shelters, abandonment, neglect situations, owner surrenders, and other unknown or difficult circumstances. In many cases, we cannot fully verify their genetic history, behavioral history, or prior treatment.
Because of this, every rescue dog requires patience, leadership, structure, training, and decompression time in their new home. We strongly encourage adopters to understand and follow the 3-3-3 decompression guideline, which recognizes that dogs need time to adjust, build trust, and feel safe in their new environment.
While we conduct behavioral evaluations and disclose all known information, rescue dogs may display behaviors that were not previously observed. Adoption requires a full commitment to proper training, supervision, veterinary care, and lifelong ownership.
This application is designed to ensure each dog is placed in a safe, stable, and permanent home.
