Instructions for Uploading Your Files:
To ensure a smooth mixing and mastering process, please follow these guidelines for preparing and uploading your files:
Create a ZIP file containing two folders:
Folder 1: Track Outs
Include all stems (individual instrument and vocal tracks). Each file should be clearly labeled based on its type. Examples:
- Kick_In.wav
- Kick_Out.wav
- Bass_DI.wav
- Bass_Clean.wav
- LeadVocal_Main.wav
- Harmony1.wav
Folder 2: Reference & Rough Mix
Include your reference track (if applicable) and rough mix of your song. Label these files as follows:
- SongName_Reference.wav
- YourSongName_RoughMix.wav
File Format:
Use WAV format for all files (48 kHz, 24-bit preferred).
File Naming:
Use consistent and clear naming for your files to avoid confusion. Include descriptive labels for track outs and identify the type of mix for references.
Example: "Kick_In.wav" for a kick drum mic and "SongName_RoughMix.wav" for your rough mix.
Upload Limits:
The ZIP file should not exceed the size limit. However if it does, I'll leave a section on the form for external links to other file transfer websites (ex: DropBox, WeTransfer, Mediafire, etc.)
