  • Section 1. Application Checklist & Required Uploads

    Please ensure you have all these documents listed ready to upload before starting this input. Paperwork needed: 1. RSA ID, or Passport, or CIPC documents (if a company). If a foreign passport, please supply a valid work permit also. 2. Proof of current address. E.g., recent (within 3-months) bank statement, lease agreement, cellular account. 3. Last 3 months payslips, or Accountants Letter (if self-employed). Please note your gross joint monthly income must be at least 3x the monthly rental. E.g., if the rent is R10,000 then your gross income must be at least R30,000. 4. Last 3 months bank statements (if self-employed please supply 12 months bank statements). 5. Application Fee POP (Proof of Payment). Non-refundable. R350 incl. VAT (single), or R500 incl. VAT (joint/company).

    Upon acceptance by the Landlord/City Living Rentals and the presenting of an Agreement of Lease, I/We agree to pay the following, as advertised or communicated in writing prior to submission of this application.1. Deposit: To be paid within 24 to 48 hours of issuing the lease2. First month rent: To be paid before key handover and ingoing inspection.3. Service Fee: To be paid monthly with the rental.4. Lease Fee: R1,490 incl. VAT or R1,990 incl. VAT (joint/company). To be paid before the start of month two.5. Pro-rata rent: To be paid before key handover and ingoing inspection, only if applicable.
