    Spots are now open for our Young Entrepreneurs Water Ice Workshop starting May 17 🍧🥶

    This is a 4-class hybrid program (in-store + virtual) designed to teach youth how to start and run their own water ice business—from making the product to pricing, marketing, and selling with confidence.

    By the end of the program, each student will leave with the tools and support to launch, including:


    ✔️ Logo assistance
    ✔️ LLC & business guidance
    ✔️ Supplies (a pack cups, napkins, spoons, one cooler, and one scooper)
    ✔️ 2 buckets of water ice to begin selling

    This workshop is about building real skills, responsibility, and ownership not just learning, but executing.

  • Student/Parent Information

  • Consent for Participation

    Consent to participate in the Young Entrepreneurs Water Ice Workshop. Activities may include hands-on business exercises, basic food handling, teamwork, and light physical activity.
  • I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian, give permission for my child to participate in the Young Entrepreneurs Water Ice Workshop, which includes in-store and virtual classes, hands-on product handling, and business education activities.

    I understand the workshop includes:

    1.      Food preparation demonstrations and scooping activities

    2.      Basic entrepreneurship instruction

    3.      Business planning exercises

    4.      Graduation launch activities

    5.      I acknowledge participation is voluntary.

  • Assumption of Risk & Liability Release

    Acknowledgment of light physical activity and release of liability during participation.
  • I understand that participation may involve light physical activity (standing, scooping, lifting light coolers, etc.). I assume responsibility for any minor injuries that may occur during normal workshop activities.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless: Water Ice Express LLC, its owners, staff, instructors, and affiliates from liability related to ordinary participation in the program.

  • Food & Allergy Disclosure

    Please list any allergies or medical conditions that program staff should be aware of.
  • Virtual Class Acknowledgment

    The program includes both on-site and virtual sessions. Supervision is required for virtual participation.
  • Graduation Starter Package Acknowledgment

    Participants who complete the program will receive a Graduation Starter Package, including business resources and certificates.
  • I understand that upon successful completion of the workshop, my child may receive:

    1.      Business startup eBook

    2.      Logo assistance

    3.      LLC filing guidance (parent must complete legal filings)

    4.      Water ice product and supplies

  • Media Consent

    Permission for use of participant's photo/video in program materials and media.
  • I grant permission to Water Ice Express LLC to photograph, record, or film my child during workshop activities for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes.

    This may include use on:

    ·       Social media platforms

    ·       Website

    ·       Flyers & promotional materials

    ·       Email campaigns

    ·       Educational presentations

    I understand that:

    No compensation will be provided for media use

    Images will not be used in a harmful or inappropriate manner

    Names may be used unless I request otherwise in writing.

  • Program Expectations

    The Young Entrepreneurs Workshop is a professional learning environment designed to teach responsibility, leadership, and business ownership. All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and disciplined manner. 

    The student agrees to the following:

    1. Respect & Professional Behavior

    Treat instructors, staff, parents, and fellow students with respect at all times.

    No bullying, teasing, or disruptive behavior.

    Use appropriate language at all times.

    2. Participation & Effort

    Actively participate in both in-store and virtual classes.

    Follow instructions during hands-on activities.

    Arrive on time and prepared.

    3. Food Safety & Cleanliness

    Follow all sanitation and food handling instructions.

    Maintain clean hands and workspace during product activities.

    Handle equipment and supplies responsibly.

    4. Equipment & Property Care

    Treat all coolers, buckets, tools, and materials with care.

    Do not misuse, damage, or remove property without permission.

    Parents/guardians may be financially responsible for intentional damage.

    5. Virtual Class Conduct 

    Remain visible and engaged during virtual sessions.

    No inappropriate chat messages or background distractions.

    Parent/guardian supervision is encouraged.

    6. Entrepreneurial Integrity

    Represent the workshop and business respectfully in public and online.

    Practice honesty in pricing, sales, and customer interactions.

    Demonstrate leadership and accountability.

    Disciplinary Policy

    Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in:

    Verbal warning

    Parent notification

    Removal from a session

    Dismissal from the program (without refund if applicable)

    The goal is to maintain a safe, focused, and empowering environment for all participants.

  • The Parental Consent & Participation Agreement

    Please review the program expectations below and acknowledge your agreement.
  • 1. Independent Sales Activity Acknowledgment

    I understand that after graduation, my child may choose to sell water ice products off-site, including but not limited to:

    Neighborhood sales

    Community events

    School-approved activities

    Pop-up or outdoor sales locations

  • On-Site & Off-Site Sales Liability Addendum

    Please review the program expectations below and acknowledge your agreement.
  • I acknowledge that these sales activities are conducted independently and are not supervised, managed, or controlled by Water Ice Express LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    1. Assumption of Responsibility

    I understand and agree that:

    All off-site sales activities are the sole responsibility of the parent/legal guardian.

    Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors during sales.

    Parents/guardians are responsible for securing any required local permits, event approvals, or permissions.

    Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring compliance with local health and food regulations.

    2. Product Handling & Storage Responsibility

    Once products, buckets, cups, coolers, or supplies are transferred to the parent/guardian:

    Proper storage (including temperature control) becomes the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

    Water Ice Express LLC is not liable for product spoilage, contamination, improper handling, or misuse after delivery.

    3. Release of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless:

    Water Ice Express LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from:

    ·       Off-site sales activities

    ·       Customer interactions

    ·       Product resale

    ·       Transportation of products

    ·       Equipment usage outside the store premises

    4. No Partnership or Agency

    I understand that participation in the workshop does not create:

    ·       A franchise relationship

    ·       A legal partnership

    ·       An employer-employee relationship

    ·       An agency relationship

    ·       Each graduate operates independently under parental supervision.

    5. Indemnification

    I agree to indemnify and defend Water Ice Express LLC against any claims, legal actions, or expenses resulting from my child’s independent sales activities.
