Non-Discrimination Policy
Roseville Community School (RCS) is a non-discriminatory learning center. We welcome all students and families regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or any other status protected by law. We are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and inclusive community for all.
Academic Responsibility
RCS provides enrichment, project-based, and core academic programming in support of homeschool families. While teachers offer guidance, observation, and feedback, parents remain fully responsible for their child’s academic oversight, attendance and record reporting to their charter, submitting all required charter documentation, managing charter communication and compliance. RCS does not provide formal grading, transcripts, testing, or special education services.
Participation Readiness
RCS prioritizes the social, emotional, and academic development of our students within a setting that encourages independence and creativity. Our philosophy requires an age-appropriate level of self-regulation and participation readiness to ensure that every RCS student can grow, learn, and thrive in our unique environment. Students are generally expected to be able to:
- Separate from parents/caretaker(s).
- Demonstrate willingness to participate.
- Voice needs or concerns to seek support.
- Transition independently between activities and adapt to minor routine changes.
- Perform tasks without constant one-on-one support.
- Stay with the class and refrain from wandering off.
- Dress, use the restroom, and wash hands independently.
- Respond to challenges without physical or verbal aggression.
RCS does not provide childcare or behavioral health services, and students who are not participation-ready may not be eligible for registration at this time. If your child has special needs or you have concerns about readiness, please contact us before executing this contract.
Extreme Behaviors
RCS reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation if student or family behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, damaging to property, or harmful to the learning environment. RCS does not provide medical services, therapeutic services, behavioral intervention services, or one-to-one aides. Any outside service providers on campus must be pre-approved and coordinated with administration.
Family Agreement
By signing the Spring Enrollment Agreement, families acknowledge that they: Have read and understand RCS policies and expectations, agree to support RCS community standards, accept responsibility for their child’s participation and conduct.
RCS reserves the right to modify program offerings, staffing assignments, and daily schedules as needed to meet operational needs. No specific teacher, instructor, or program format is guaranteed.
