SAABs@Carlisle is an annual gathering that celebrates everything SAAB, from classic models to daily-driven modern favorites. This unique event is held in conjunction with the larger Carlisle Events Import & Performance Nationals show, which is a multi-day celebration of imported automobiles of all types.
The "show within a show" concept refers to the exclusive SAAB-focused section, where enthusiasts, collectors, and owners can showcase their vehicles, exchange knowledge, and connect with others who share their passion in our 8,000 square foot tent. Registering for SAABs@Carlisle ensures that participants receive the full experience, including access to the designated SAAB area, the opportunity to compete for awards, and the chance to interact with fellow SAAB aficionados in a space that is dedicated solely to the brand. It also helps event organizers at Central Penn SAAB Club plan for the right amount of space, resources, and assign parking, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
This show comes at a considerable cost every year, both during the event and in the infrastructure needed to plan and facilitate this gathering over the other 51 weeks of the year. Roughly half of these costs are paid for by our generous sponsors, and the other half is paid for through the event badges you are about to purchase.

Judged cars pay an extra $25 to have drive-through judging performed by Carlisle Events staff, which is completely unrelated to our People's Choice show. SAABs@Carlisle began as a simple gathering in the late 1990s, but since those early days of dueling with the Fiero club for car count we have grown into a significant part of the Carlisle Import landscape. Our cars are typically more than 10% of the entire Import and Performance Nationals showfield, and that has not wavered even more than a decade after Saab Cars built their last model. The largest tent this side of the Ringling Brothers, seating for 200, and 3 square meals a day stand out as unique among the marques.
As we have endeavored to keep this both affordable and also a polished and complete event, the world has changed around us. We still provide food, shelter, and entertainment for our guests and don't expect that to change. Many of our sponsors have retired, closed, or moved on to take care of other brands. Where we once counted on business sponsors to offset 60-65% of our expenses, as the sponsor pool has shrunken and costs have skyrocketed, that number has dwindled to about 40%. You may have noticed that we've increased our badge fees this year, and although that now includes an event t-shirt, we would prefer not to increase it again for many years. With that in mind, we are offering two levels of individual sponsorship to help keep everyone's costs stable and ensure this remains a fun and reasonably priced event for the entire Saab community. These sponsorships are not intended for businesses, but rather for people that recognize the importance of our event and have the means to help.
If you own or work for a business that is interested in sponsoring the event next year, please talk to us at the registration table at the show or email.
The Endless Mountain Vintage Saab Jamboree is held in Northeastern Pennsylvania each Summer. As the name implies, it's an event focusing on early models from 92 through 900. CPSC member Amy Klene has taken it upon herself to create beautiful calendars as a fundraiser for the event. To help spread the word, we are taking orders with your SAABs@Carlisle registration with the printed calendar to be delivered at registration. Calendars are $25 each and run for 13 months from May through the following May. Shipping is not included or available.
Founded in 1985 and formally chartered in 1986, the Central Penn SAAB Club, is a non-profit organization and group of family oriented SAAB enthusiasts who enjoy driving our SAABs. We have been recognized nationally as one of the most active SAAB Clubs in North America. Our roots trace back to 1959 and The Harrisburg (Pennsylvania) SAAB Club, the first organization of its kind. The Harrisburg SAAB Club members were very active in organized racing events including The Hershey Hill Climb, autocrossing and many other events throughout the area. It is this rich heritage that helped establish the current club, a lasting legacy that lives on today with the spirit of our members, and a tradition that we are proud to share with you upon becoming a member. Our members enjoy generous discounts on SAAB parts and accessories, and in some cases, labor as well. We meet once a month for an informal dinner meeting and organize and attend events throughout the Northeast and Mid Atlantic regions of the United States. We now count members in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, many New England states, as well as across Pennsylvania. Whether your interest is simply getting out once in a while, meeting other enthusiasts, scenic touring, rallies, attending the National Owners' Convention or learning more about your car and SAAB's heritage, the Central Penn SAAB Club has a great deal to offer.
Membership is $25 per year, and includes a monthly e-newsletter, access to all of our events and monthly meetings (in-person or online), and a discount at participating businesses. Memberships run from June through May. You will receive a membership card in your registration packet at SAABs@Carlisle.
