Silver Oak PTO is pleased to offer this year's MUSICAL:
Frog & Toad
Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.
The jazzy, upbeat score of A Year with Frog and Toad bubbles with melody and wit, making it an inventive, exuberant and enchanting musical for the whole family.
Please register your child for a great learning experience. In order for the play to be a success, we require all parents to volunteer during practice sessions and tech week. Please sign up using the signupgenius link for volunteering during practice sessions.
Registration fee includes practice sessions, scripts, pictures, cast party, and video recording of the play.

Cost: $325 for members / $390 for nonmembers

Location: Silver Oak Multipurpose Room
Auditions: Monday, March 23, 2026 2:15p.m. - 4:00p.m.
Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:15p.m.-4:00p.m. (except March 30, April 6, 8, May 20, 25)
Tech Week: June 1 & 2, 2:15p.m.- 5:00p.m.
Performances: June 3 9:00a.m (school only); 6:00p.m. (public) June 4 6:00pm (public)
In order for the play rehearsals and performances to run smoothly, we are requiring that every family volunteer to help at one rehearsal and during tech week/show days. Please find the Signup Genius Link below, and sign-up for one 1.5 hour slot to volunteer during rehearsals. Tech week/show day sign-ups will be released closer to tech week.
