The AFF is proud to host a para refereeing seminar at this year's AFC #4 in Sydney over the weekend of Friday 17 - Sunday 19 April.
This seminar will be presented by Jonathan Moss, member of the Referees Commission for World Para Fencing.
It will consist of a roughly 4-hour session on the Friday from 4PM to cover the broader aspects of para refereeing followed by a shorter, 1-hour weapon- and priority-specific presentation on the Saturday morning at 8AM.
Attendance is free for all who wish to participate. It is recommended that attendees have at or near to state-level capability in refereeing for able-bodied fencing so that certain concepts can be taken as assumed knowledge.
Afterwards, Mr. Moss will be happy to assess any interested candidates for their capability towards obtaining international para refereeing qualifications during the para fencing showcases in the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday.
