  • Baylor ISR Evangelical Studies Program conference 2026, organised in cooperation with the Religious Studies department of the Open University (UK) and the World Christian Database.

  • The tasks of counting evangelicals and determining who “counts” as an evangelical frequently occupy both scholars and practitioners of this global Christian movement. They have been, and remain, salient to key questions about the definitions and identity, growth and decline, and leadership and mission of evangelicals. This conference examines these issues in both historical and contemporary perspective, involving in the discussion leading scholars and practitioners.
