About the Marine Apprenticeship Program
The Marine Apprenticeship Program is an intensive program lasting just over 4 weeks. Each day of the program is a full day - either 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the end of the program, you will have the following formal certifications: ASA 101 Basic Keelboat, Boating Safety Course, Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW). You will also gain hands on experience through our program partners various vessels - catamarans (power an sail), monohulls (power and sail) - as well as basic maintenance, customer service training, and charter operations training.
To be eligible for this program, you must meet all of the below criteria. If you qualify, please acknowledge by checking each box as appropriate. If you do not qualify for the program, you will not be able to submit the application.

I am a USVI resident, and I graduated from a high school in the USVI.
I understand this program is a full-time commitment. I am committed to attending all sessions Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m (or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) over the period of 4 weeks.
