ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants must be a high school senior, graduating in Spring 2026, and attending a school in Robeson County or Columbus County
- Applicants may be female, male, or non-binary
- Applicant must be accepted to a 2-year Community College, 4-Year College or University, and show proof of enrollment before scholarship funds will be dispersed.
REQUIRED SUPPORTING MATERIALS
Essay: Applicants must submit a 400-word maximum, essay to be submitted with this application. The essay must share a personal description of yourself, highlighting the qualities that make you a strong candidate for this scholarship. Discuss the unique attributes and experiences that set you apart from other applicants. Additionally, explain how earning a college degree will contribute to your future goals and aspirations.
Recommendation Form: Applicants must submit the name and email of two (2) recommenders—one an academic reference and one a community reference.
The academic reference can come from a Teacher, Counselor, or Administrator, who can speak to your work inside the classroom.
The community reference must come from a community member, advisor, coach, mentor, or a similar person who can speak to your character and service outside of the classroom.
Recommendations must be received by the deadline for the application to be considered.
Offical Transcript: Applicants must provide the contact information of their school administrator or records office so the scholarship committee can request an official transcript on their behalf.
