Suzuki Music Association of California (SMAC) is the parent organization of Orange Country Strings. SMAC is a tax-exempt, registered 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization serving Suzuki communities throughout California. We bring Suzuki teachers and students together for institutes, graduations, play-ins, workshops, teacher training, masterclasses and more. Learn more about our mission and the history of SMAC here.

SMAC accepts donations on behalf of OC Strings to provide scholarships for students attending SMAC-Sponsored programs, and financial aid for teachers seeking to further their training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. 95% of all donations are distributed directly to OC Strings, and 5% stay with our parent organization, SMAC, to maintain operations.
