PENDLETON COMMUNITY GARDEN PLOT RENTAL FORM
  • PENDLETON COMMUNITY GARDEN

    Plot Request Form
  • Thank you for submitting a community garden plot request. We assign plots each year February through June, as space is available. If we don't reach your name during the assignment period, your name will remain on the waitlist for next year. Once you've been assigned a plot, you'll be given the opportunity to renew your plot each year. While you are on the waitlist, we will email you each November and ask you to confirm your continued interest in being on the waitlist. Once we contact you regarding an opening, you have one week to reach back out to us or we move to the next person in line.

  • Gardening Experience & Practices

  • The Pendleton Community Garden requires all gardeners to avoid using all synthetic pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers to protect our shared environment.

We also only have composting available on site. All garbage and debris that is not compostable will need to be removed by gardeners and loaded out.

  • Community Involvement

This project is a community-based garden, funded by generous public donors. It is our collective responsibility to operate and maintain the garden in order to steward the gift in a meaningful way. In order to keep plot assignments affordable, we require that each garden member carry out a minimum of 5 hours of volunteer time per year. Tasks may include: general maintenance, watering shared areas, compost management, managing the tool shed, welcoming new members, providing workshops or learning opportunities for other members or supporting the Garden Council.
