Charting My Course Summer Lab
Charting My Course Summer Lab is a 6‑day interactive program for Arizona students ages 14–22 with disabilities, designed to help them explore their future through hands‑on learning and personalized planning. Participants will engage in Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre‑ETS) workshops, develop a personalized Person‑Centered Plan, and build real‑world workplace skills through the Skills to Pay the Bills curriculum. The program offers a supportive, engaging environment to explore and practice key skills, including:
- Self‑advocacy
- Job Exploration
- Workplace Readiness
- Post‑secondary Options
- Teamwork
- Communication
- Professional development
Who Can Participate?
This program is open to students* ages 14–22 who:
- Have a documented disability**
- Live in Arizona
*Eligible students include high school, college/university, certificate program, and other post‑secondary learners.
**Acceptable documentation includes an IEP, 504 Plan, or medical documentation of a disability or diagnosis.
Program Details
The program consists of six daylong sessions, and participants are required to attend all sessions to participate in the program.

Deadline to Submit Pre-Registration: May 15, 2026
Please Note:
- A 30‑minute virtual orientation session—attended by the student and a parent/guardian (if applicable)—is required before acceptance into the program.
- Registration is not finalized until the Pre-ETS Request Form for Students with Disabilities is signed and submitted following the orientation session.
