    Job Application Form 2026

    Technicians & Box Office Staff
  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Our Staff Positions
Technician: Fringe techs implement all venue tech and serve as artist liaisons for their venue. They load in and set up sound, lighting, and projection equipment; they set the cues with artists during tech rehearsals; they run lights, sound, projection during performances; and they strike and load out all equipment, restoring the venue to its original state at the end of the week. Technicians help keep the festival schedule on track while maintaining a safe environment for all participants. Prior theatrical or other live performance tech experience preferred.

Box Office Staff: Box Office folks are assigned to a specific stage/venue to oversee ticket sales, will call, and general front-of-house duties including curtain speeches before the start of each performance. They'll also supervise any festival volunteers assigned to the same stage/venue. Prior live event box office experience a plus but not required; past customer service and/or cashier experience required. In addition to working the week of the festival, paid pre-event training will be required via video chat.

Festival organizers can't be at every venue at once, so these 2 positions keep operations running smoothly while organizers see to other matters. They are the face of the festival for patrons and artists! You will recieve a staff badge which enables you to rush any show on your time off during the festival!
