The Family Future Makers programme provides development opportunities for youth leaders (aged 18-30) who are keen to contribute as active citizens, to uphold family values as foundational to nation-building in Singapore.
  • Programme Objectives

    1. Discover what shapes you — explore the ideas, experiences, and influences that have shaped how you see family and the world around you.

    2. Grow clarity and confidence to navigate complex conversations about family, while envisioning the kind of family you hope to champion.

    3. Be inspired to make an impact — uncover your unique voice and how you can positively influence the conversations happening among your peers and wider society regarding family.

    The Journey:

    1. Facilitated reflections to process your family story, your values, and how they shape your heart for family.

    2. Interactive discussions, and huddles that help you think critically, recognise common cultural narratives of family, and navigate them with clarity and confidence.

    3. Tips and techniques to hone your unique voice for family alongside others in a supportive environment guided by seasoned practitioners in the family sphere.

    4. Envisioning exercises to picture the kind of family and community you want to build, and how you can empower others around you to do likewise.

We are thrilled to journey with you as we sow into marriages, families, and the next generation.  Check out our FFM website to learn more about our sessions, trainers and to hear our previous batch of youths share their experience.
