  • What is CBD?
    CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-intoxicating compound derived from the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a ‘high’. It works with the body’s endocannabinoid system, supporting mood, sleep, pain, inflammation and stress regulation.

    What Can CBD Support?
    CBD may assist with chronic pain, anxiety, sleep disturbance, inflammation, neuropathic pain, migraines, perimenopause symptoms and PTSD-related symptoms. It is used for symptom management and wellbeing support.

    Is CBD Legal in NZ?
    Yes. CBD is legal in New Zealand with a prescription from a registered doctor under the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme. It cannot be purchased over the counter.

    Safety & Side Effects
    CBD is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include dry mouth, fatigue, mild dizziness and gastrointestinal upset. CBD may interact with certain medications, so medical review is essential.
