1. Introduction
- These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of carpet and upholstery cleaning services ("Services") provided by PM Bosch PTY Ltd ta Bosch Services (the company) to you, the Customer.
- By booking and using our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Scope of Services
- Bosch Services provides professional cleaning for carpets, rugs, upholstery and mattress. Our services include deep cleaning, stain removal, deodorizing and other related treatments, depending on the service requested.
- Bosch Services team will make every effort to remove all stains; however, stains that have been present for extended periods may not be completely eliminated.
- The details of specific services will be outlined in the job order provided to the Customer prior to the commencement of work.
Delicate & High-Risk Carpet Terms
Bosch Services recognises the unique care required for delicate and specialty rugs. The following conditions apply when handling any item classified as delicate, high-value, or high-risk, including but not limited to:
- Persian and Oriental rugs
- Silk or silk-blend carpets
- Hand-knotted or handwoven rugs
- Antique or heirloom items
- Natural fibre rugs such as jute, sisal, hemp
- Rugs with unstable dyes, loose fibres, or visible/pre-existing wear
2.1. Inherent Risks
- These rugs are prone to:
- Colour bleeding or dye migration
- Shrinkage, distortion, or rippling
- Pile thinning, matting, or textural change
- Weakened backing or fibre damage during or after moisture exposure
- Unforeseen reactions from previous treatments (DIY chemicals, moth-proofing, sun damage)
2.2. Cleaning Method & Liability
- Bosch Services will:
- Perform a visual inspection to assess condition and cleaning safety
- Use fibre-appropriate, pH-neutral or WoolSafe - approved products where applicable
- Recommend off-site or low-moisture cleaning when needed
- Refuse treatment if the rug is deemed unsafe to clean
- However, despite all professional care, Bosch Services cannot guarantee full stain or odour removal.
- That pre-existing damage won’t worsen or become visible.
- That colours or shape will remain completely unchanged after cleaning
2.3. Limitation of Liability
- By submitting a delicate or high-risk carpet for cleaning, the client acknowledges and accepts:
- These inherent risks are part of cleaning such items.
Bosch Services is not liable for:
- Natural deterioration
- Unstable dyes or hidden damage
- Outcomes resulting from age, construction, or past misuse
2.4. Client Declaration
By signing below, the client confirms:
They understand the risks outlined above
They release Bosch Services from responsibility for any damage, bleeding, or changes resulting from the cleaning of delicate rugs
They authorise Bosch Services to proceed based on professional judgment.
3. Booking and Cancellations
- Booking: Services must be scheduled in advance via our website, phone, or email. Confirmation will be sent to the Customer when the service will be done.
- Cancellations: If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled date. Failure to cancel within the required time frame may incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the total service price.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing: The pricing for the cleaning services will be quoted to you prior to the appointment. Pricing may vary depending on the size, type, and condition of the carpet, rug, upholstery or mattress.
- Payment: Full payment for Services is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include cash or bank transfer.
- Late Payment: Late payments may incur a interest charges at a rate of 5% per month.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Access: The Customer must provide access to the areas to be cleaned and ensure they are free of obstacles and personal items before our technicians arrive.
- Bosch Services is NOT responsible for moving heavy furniture or valuable items unless specifically agreed upon beforehand. Cleaning will not commence is this conditions is not met. Bosch Services reserves the right to cancel the cleaning. The customer will be liable to a 10% service fee charge.
- Should Bosch Services be instructed to remove furniture, additional cost will be added to the final bill.
- Liability for Personal Items: The Customer must inform Bosch Services of any delicate or valuable items in the cleaning area. We are not liable for damage to items not disclosed before the service begins.
- Existing Stains or Damage: While we aim to remove stains, some stains may be permanent due to factors such as fabric type or the age of the stain. Bosch Services cannot guarantee the removal of all stains or damage. Some marks, stains or discolouration may only become visible after cleaning, as the removal of surface dirt can reveal pre-existing damage that was not noticeable before. Bosch Services cannot be held liable for any marks that appear due to pre-existing conditions becoming exposed during the cleaning process.
6. Limitations of Liability
- Bosch Services will not be liable for any damage to carpets, rugs, upholstery, or other property caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g., excessive wear, fading, or previous cleaning treatments).
- Bosch Services are not responsible for any damage to the carpet, mattresses or upholstery that may occur after cleaning due to failure to follow care instructions or misuse by the Customer.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
- Bosch Services offers a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the results of our cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of the service date, and we will re-clean the affected areas free of charge.
- Claims made after this period may not be eligible for re-cleaning.
- Please note: This guarantee does not apply to old, set-in, or permanent stains that cannot be removed despite using industry-approved cleaning methods.
8. Health and Safety
- All cleaning products used by Bosch Services are chosen to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff. If you have any allergies, sensitivities, or concerns regarding cleaning products, please inform us prior to your scheduled service so we can accommodate your needs.
- The Customer agrees to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Bosch Services regarding the care and maintenance of the cleaned areas.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
- Bosch Services is committed to protecting your personal data. We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing our services, billing, and communication.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.
10. Force Majeure
- Bosch Services will not be held responsible for any failure to perform under this Agreement if such failure is due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather-related delays, strikes, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
11. Modifications to Terms
- Bosch Services reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer, and continued use of our Services will be considered as acceptance of the updated terms.
