During the repair of your vehicle, additional damage and/or necessary repairs were discovered that were not visible during the original estimate.

Pennsylvania law requires that we obtain your approval before performing any repairs beyond what was originally authorized.

 

REASON FOR ADDITIONAL REPAIRS/COST
During the repair process, additional damage was discovered that was not visible during the original estimate. This may include hidden damage found after disassembly, structural or frame damage affecting the integrity of the vehicle, additional parts required to properly complete the repair, or mechanical damage related to the accident. In some cases, an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part may be required to ensure proper fit, function, and safety. There may also be price adjustments due to changes in parts or material costs since the original estimate. These additional repairs are necessary to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition and to ensure it is safe and properly repaired.

IMPORTANT INSURANCE INFORMATION (IF APPLICABLE)

We will submit this supplement to your insurance company for review and approval.

Please understand:

• You are responsible for your deductible (if applicable).
• You are responsible for any betterment, appearance allowance or depreciation assessed by your insurance company.
• If your insurance company denies or does not pay for part of the repairs, you are responsible for the unpaid balance.
• We cannot release the vehicle until all balances are paid in full.

• You authorize Smitty's Maintenance Repair & Collision, Inc. to perform the additional repairs listed above.
• You acknowledge that you have received and reviewed the revised repair estimate.
• You understand your potential financial responsibility as explained above.
• You understand you are entitled to a copy of this signed document.
