Gaza's Living Cinema
SPOCS for Gaza, PYM Boston, and the Muslim Justice League are honored to present Gaza's Living Cinema: a film screening by ten young filmmakers in Gaza!
About The Film Screening
SPOCS for Gaza is a student led initiative to provide accessible education with care and community support for students in Gaza. We curate courses online and connect volunteers around the world to the academic community in Gaza --- we all learn from each other. One of courses offered was a film studies course taught by Professor Ahlam Muhtaseb. Over the summer of 2025, for their final projects, the students made short films --- these were made during the genocide and the peak of the famine. As a testament to their work, we are holding this event to honor our wonderful students, and showcase their films to the greater Boston community. After the films, we will hold a live panel discussion and Q&A with the students.
April 4 from 2PM-5PM
